Visit Bear Club Tent at Basketball Games on Saturday

The Coast Guard Academy Bear Club will have an information tent on Saturday when the men’s and women’s basketball teams host a doubleheader at the Merriman Gym in the Roland Fieldhouse.

The Bear Club is the new booster club for Academy Athletics. Membership comes with special benefits, however, most importantly it will provide support to CGA Athletics ensuring that all cadets have the best opportunity to excel and become our leaders of tomorrow.

The women’s team will take on Mount Holyoke at 1 p.m. in a key New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) game as the Bears are battling to make the NEWMAC tournament for the first time since the 2009-10 season.

The men’s team will then host  Wheaton at 3 p.m. in the final NEWMAC home game of the season.
