Ezzo Named CGASPORTS.COM Athlete of the Week

Coast Guard Academy junior Gary Ezzo has been named the CGASPORTS.COM Athlete of the Week as he placed third overall at the Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Men’s Cross Country Championships.

Ezzo earned All-conference honors for the second straight season as he placed 11^th overall last season.

This year, Ezzo finished the 8K course in 25:54.96 as the Bears finished fourth overall.

His third place overall finish is the best finish by at Coast Guard runner at the NEWMAC Championships since 2008 when Mike Haas placed second.
