Tarzian Named NEWMAC Offensive Player and CGASPORTS.COM Athlete of the Week

Coast Guard Academy sophomore defender John Tarzian has been named the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Offensive Player of the Week and the CGASPORTS.COM Athlete of the Week as he scored three goals as the Bears won a pair of games to run their unbeaten streak to seven last week.

Tarzian scored three goals during the two wins as Coast Guard snapped Albertus Magnus' 11-game unbeaten streak and also beat Mitchell, both by 3-1 scores.

He scored a pair of headers in win over Albertus and added his third header of the week in the win over Mitchell as the Bears ran their unbeaten streak to seven and improved to 9-3-1 on the season.
