Bruce enters his 19th season at the Coast Guard Academy and 15th as head equipment manager after serving as the assistant equipment manager for four years.

Prior to the Academy, Bruce was the head equipment manager at Connecticut College from 1991-93.

His duties include all team equipment issues and the setting up for home contests for most of the athletic events.
