Colleen is in her second season as an assistant coach with the
women's basketball team.
Last season, she was an assistant at Rhode Island College
as the Anchorwomen won both the Little East Conference regular
season and tournament titles and earned a berth in the NCAA
tournament. Colleen was the recruiting coordinator and worked with
the guards.
She is currently the head coach of the CT Storm AAU team, a
position she has held since 2008. Colleen has led two teams to the
DII National Tournament finishing eighth and 13th.
Hardison is the Camp Director for Hoop Academy which is run all
over Southeastern Connecticut and Rhode Island.
Colleen began her collegiate career at Southern Connecticut State
University where she played a pair of seasons and the team won the
NE-10 regular season and conference tournament before she
transferred to Western Connecticut State University where she was a
two-year starter, senior captain and named the WCSU Scholar Athlete
of the Year as the Colonels made an NCAA tournament appearance. She
tore her ACL/MCL and meniscus the week before her senior year and
red-shirted and returned to play while in graduate school>
Hardison is a 2004 graduate of Windham High where she was the MVP,
1,000 point scorer, McDonald’s All-American nominee, four
year starter, three year captain and two-year All-State player.
She is currently a teacher at the Marine Science Magnet High
School in Groton.
