Lieutenant Commander Kehlenbach is in her first season as the Faculty Representative for the women's basketball team.

She enlisted in the Coast Guard from Rockport, Texas, in 1994.  After completing recruit training in Cape May, New Jersey, she served at Station Port Isabel, South Padre Island, Texas and the Eighth Coast Guard District, New Orleans, Louisiana before reporting to Petaluma, California for Emergency Medical Technician training and Health Services Dental Technician “A” School in 1996.  After graduating in February 1997, she was assigned to Health Services Division, Training Center Cape May, New Jersey until receiving orders to Health Services Technician “A” school in 1998.

She has served as the Alfa Company Officer at the Coast Guard Academy since 2010. LCDR Kehlenbach has earned numerous unit, service and personal awards including the Boat Forces Operations Insignia, three Coast Guard Commendation Medals, three Coast Guard Achievement Medals, and four Commandant’s Letter of Commendation. 

LCDR Kehlenbach holds an Associate of Arts and a Bachelor of Science in Management from the University of Phoenix.  She earned a Master’s in Management from the University of Phoenix in July 2009.
