BOSTON, Mass. – Coast Guard Academy sophomore Tim Duncan, who tied the single-season school record with six homers this season, was named to the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) All-conference second team.

Duncan was fifth in the NEWMAC with his six homers, tying the school record held by three others, Ryan Eldridge (2002), Rob Trevino (2002), and Mike Taylor (1965).

He hit .301 this season led the team with 34 hits, nine doubles, 22 RBI's and a .558 slugging percentage to earn All-conference honors for the first time in his career. He missed all but one game in the 2014 season with an injury.

Coast Guard got off a record start in Florida by winning its first five games of the season and improved to a record 10-2 start.

The team advanced to the NEWMAC tournament semifinals, winning a conference tournament game for the first time since 2010 and finished 16-16 overall and 8-9 in conference play.
