Football Set For Home Opener on Saturday -- Game and Ticket Information

The Coast Guard football team will host Hampden-Sydney on Saturday at 1 p.m. in the home opener and the Bears will honor the 1963 team coached by NFL Hall of Famer Otto Graham by wearing throw back uniforms as over thirty members of that team will be in attendance and serve as honorary captains. The '63 team is the only Coast Guard team to go unbeaten and untied in the regular season and then earned a bid to the Tangerine Bowl.

This season, game day will have a different look around the Academy, as a new set up will feature the ticket tent directly behind the press box with tickets needed to access the wall along the street behind the press box, which is different than in the past.
