Henning was named to the first team as a punter and Rizzardi was named to the third team as a safety. Both players were also named to the New England Football Conference (NEFC) All-Conference first team this past season.
Henning led the NEFC and is sixth nationally with a 41.5 yard average per punt. He led the conference with 23 punts inside the 20-yard line and 13 punts of over 50 yards including a season-long 69 yard punt.
He was 19 of 20 converting a NEFC-best 95% of his extra points while making seven of 12 field goals this year to finish his career with a school-record tying 28 field goals while making 98 of 101 extra points in his four years.
Rizzardi led the Bears with 84 tackles, 62 solo, 5.5 tackles for loss and four interceptions, two of which he returned for touchdowns to go with a fumble recovery, a forced fumble and a pair of blocked kicks. He led all defensive backs in the NEFC in tackles.
The All-East Region team, selected in balloting by East Region sports information directors and D3football.com staff, were chosen from 310 nominations by Division III member schools. A total of 79 players were chosen. Players nominated for All-Region are eligible to be considered for D3football.com All-America honors, which will be announced the evening of Dec. 18, in D3football.com's pregame coverage for Stagg Bowl XLIII.
