Freshman Trey Johnson has been named New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Defensive Player of the Week for the second time this season.
Johnson was 2-0 this past week including a 8-7 overtime win over Clark for the Bears first NEWMAC win of the season. Johnson made ten saves in the win.
Johnson continues to be one of the top goalies in the NEWMAC and country as he is first in the conference in goals-against average (6.45) and is second in save percentage (59.2) and goals against (51). His goals-against average is currently seventh in the country while his save percentage is 31st as of April 8th.
