NEW LONDON, Conn. – Sophomore Riley McNulty was named NEWMAC Offensive Athlete of the Week after leading the Bears to a 2-0 week and becoming the first player in program history to record 100 points.
McNulty had seven goals, three assists and seven ground balls as the Bears recorded NEWMAC wins over MIT (7-2) and Wheaton (10-5).
McNulty finished with a game high six points scoring four goals and added two assists in the win over Wheaton to crack the 100 point mark for his career as he finished the week with 105 career points.
He leads the conference with 43 points, is second with 18 assists and is tied for fourth with 25 goals.
The Bears lead the conference with a 3-0 record and are 8-2 overall this season with their only losses coming to nationally ranked Ithaca (14) and Conn. College (20).
Coast Guard is back in action on Wednesday, April 11th, when they host cross-town foe Mitchell Mariners. Opening face-off is 7:00 pm.
