Six Different Players Score leading Bears Past Elms

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. – Coast Guard had six different players score leading the Bears to a 6-2 win over Elms at the MCLA Tournament.

Coast Guard struck quickly as Gio Ottomanelli found the back of the net just 2:25 into the match with one of yesterday's goal scorers, Robbie Fugett assisting

Freshman John Flood would score the first goal of his career in the 38th minute with Daniel Taglianetti adding the assist as the Bears took a 2-0 lead into halftime.

The Bears added a pair of goals just 58 seconds apart just under ten minutes into the second half as Seth Anderson and Fuggett scored giving the Bears a 4-0 lead. Gabriel Gallant assisted on both goals, the first two of his career.

The Blazers got on the board on a goal by Alex Egan in the 65th minute before Justin Szwajkowski added another in the 67th minute.

Mike Daunt scored his first career goal for Coast Guard in the 75th minute before Noah Engstrom would also scored the first goal of his career to close the scoring with 6:13 left with Taglianetti adding his second assist of the game.

The Bears (2-1) outshot Elms 27-6

Dakota Harich (1-1) made three saves to pickup the win in goal for Coast Guard.

The Bears are back in action on Tuesday night when they host Western Connecticut at 6:00.
