INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.— Junior Christian Brindamour earned All-America status for the second time this week as he placed fifth in the 100 meters at the NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championships at IUPUI to earn All-America status for the first time in his career.

Brindamour, who was seeded 19th entering the championships, posted a school-record time of 44.81 in the preliminaries, the fifth best time, to earn a spot in the finals.

He swam an even better 44.65 to rebreak the school-record and place fifth in the finals to again earn All-America honors after winning the national championship in the 50 freestyle with a time of 20.06 on Wednesday.

Brindamour' first place and fifth place finish gave Coast Guard 34 points good enough for the Bears to finish tied for 24th at the championship.
