Sodemann Breaks Tufts Pool Record in Loss to Jumbos

MEDFORD, Mass. – Junior Chasse Sodemann broke the Tufts pool record in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 58.13, but No. 21 Coast Guard suffered its first loss of the season to No. 11 Tufts 170-126.

Junior Taylor Rowe won the 500 freestyle (4:51.67) and the 1,000 freestyle in 10:00.65, while freshman Eric Fuhs won the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:11.30.

Freshman Marshall Seguin won the 1-meter diving event with 246 points and the 3-meter board with 232.58 points to sweep the diving events.

The Bears 200 freestyle relay of senior Brandon Ledford, freshman Dan Jenkins, junior Patrick Jackson and sophomore Joe Rodriquez won in 1:27.73

Coast Guard, now 3-1 on the season, is back in action on Dec. 2nd at Wesleyan for the Connecticut Cup.
