Men's Swimming Cracks Top 20 in National Poll

NEW LONDON, Conn. – The Coast Guard Academy men's swimming and diving team has cracked the Top 20 in the Division III national poll.

The Bears, who are 4-2 in dual meets this season, are ranked 20th in the latest, College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA)/TYR Top 25 Division III poll.

Coast Guard is led by junior All-American Chasse Sodemann (100 breaststroke) and classmate Taylor Rowe, who has earned honorable mention All-America honors in the 1,650 freestyle in each of the last two seasons.

The Bears are back in action on Saturday when they host Clark in the final home meet of the season at noon.
