NEW YORK, N.Y. – The Bears #1 doubles team of Tom Hackett and Jack Phillips earned a 8-4 win, but that would be all Coast Guard could muster in an 8-1 loss to NYU to open the spring semester.
The #2 doubles team of Kyle Fager and Chris Lansing as well as the #3 doubles team of Arthur Wicke and Lucas Arora both lost 8-3.
In singles action, Lansing was the only Bear to take a set as he lost 5-7, 6-3, 10-3 at #4 singles.
The Bears drop to 2-2 on the season are now off until March 23rd when they will take on national power Claremont-Mudd Scripps at Wesleyan at 3:30.
