Duren Runs to #6 All-Time in 400M at CGA at Dave Hemery Invitational

Boston, Mass.-- Freshman James Duren ran an all-time best of 49.68 in the 400M, landing him 6th on the Coast Guard All-Time list to lead the members of the men's track and field team at the Dave Hemery Invitational at Boston University on Saturday.

Josiah Davis improves on his 800 meter best performance from two weeks ago after crossing the line in 1:52.54. Benjamin Taminger hit a qualifying performance for 800M at 1:58.42.

Miguel Moroles also ran a personal record of 50.42 to qualify for the DIII New England Championships for the 400M dash.

The 4x400 relay of Miguel Moroles, James Duren, Daniel Taglianetti, and Josiah Davis had a season best time of 3:20.48.

In the 5k, all five runners demonstrated some depth in the longer distance races; Andre Gallant (15:23.44) Colton Atkinson(15:24.76) Matt Doyle (15:38.26) Alex Kearney (15:38.82) Jacob McGlumphy (15:39.77).

Other members of the men's track and field team competed in the Gordon Kelly Invitational at MIT. The Bears are back in action next Saturday, February 16 at the Springfield Invitational.
