Zarlengo Wins Three Events to Lead Bears at Springfield

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Ben Zarlengo continued his fantastic season by winning three events to lead Coast Guard at the Springfield College Classic.

Zarlengo won the shot put (42 feet, 6 inches), discus (154 feet, 10 inches) and the hammer (172 feet, 8 inches) for the Bears.

Also winning this afternoon for Coast Guard were Jacob McGlumpy winning the 1,500 meters with a time of 4:05.72. Jason Cho won the pole vault (12 feet, 11.5 inches), Javon Wingate won the long jump (21 feet, 7.25 inches) and Edward Carroll won the triple jump (43 feet, 5.75 inches).

The Bears had plenty of top five finishers in preparation for next week's NEWMAC Championship back at Springfield, see below for those finishes.
