Bears Finish in Eighth Place at Saratoga Invitational

SARATOGA, N.Y. – The Coast Guard men's cross country team ran to a top ten finish at the Saratoga Invitational hosted by RPI.

Coast Guard was eighth with 204 points. Host RPI won the meet with 37 points followed by Bates with 54 points.

The top finishers for the Bears was sophomore Andre Gallant in 25th place (26:28.2) and junior Colton Atkinson in 26th place (26:30.6).

Sophomore Jacob Panning was the next runner across the line for Coast Guard in 27:06.8 (45th place) followed closely by junior Alex Kearney in 27:07.9 (47th place).

Senior Tim O'Loughlin was the Bears fifth finisher in 61st place (27:32.4).

Rounding out the top seven was junior Ryan Brumm (65th place, 27:41.7) and senior Christian Fields (66th place, 27:45.4)

Coast Guard is back in action on Saturday, October 14th at the Conn. College Invitational.
