Ethan begins his first season as the head coach of the men's cross country team while he is in his fourth season as head coach of women’s cross country team and his second season as head coach of both the men's and women's track team.

He had brief cross country and track coaching stints at Babson College (2006-2008) and Springfield College (2003-2005) where he coached several athletes to All-American and All-New England accolades.

He holds a Master’s of Education in Sports Management from Springfield College and professional certifications including; Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist from the NSCA and USA Track & Field (USATF) Level I certified coach.

Brown was a standout at Springfield College, where he was a two-time All-New England high jumper. He finished 12th in the high jump at the 2001 NCAA Division III Outdoor National Championships.
