Schroeher Named Women's Lacrosse Assistant Coach

NEW LONDON, Conn. – The Coast Guard Athletic Department announces the hiring of Kayla Schroeher as the women's lacrosse assistant coach for the 2019 season.

Schroeher joins the Bears after playing four years at Springfield College where she helped the Pride to four straight NEWMAC Championship games and two NCAA appearances including the programs first ever trip to the Sweet 16 in 2016.

Schroeher finished her career with 85 goals, 24 assists and 109 points. Her senior season she had career highs in goals (40), assists (14) and points (54) and her junior season she led Division III in shooting percentage (%83).

Schroeher majored in Movement and Sports Studies and minored in Coaching at Springifield. She is from Riverhead, New York.
