Jenny Fields ('08) Co-Pilot of Helicopter that Rescued HMS Bounty Crew

Coast Guard Lieutenant Jenny Fields, a 2008 graduate of the Academy and captain of the women's swim team as a senior cadet-athlete, was the co-pilot of the Coast Guard helicopter that rescued 14 crew members of the HMS Bounty which went down in rough seas off the coast of North Carolina because of Hurricane Sandy. The 14 members of the HMS Bounty were forced to abandon ship and stay on two life rafts.

Lieutenant Commander Steve Bonn, Petty Officer Daniel Todd and Fields were on the Today show to discuss the daring rescue mission.
