Bears Split to Open Second Semester

WELLESLEY, Mass.— Coast Guard split a pair to open the second semester as the Bears beat Babson 211-56, but lost to host Wellesley 182-90.

Kaitlyn Toth won the 200 IM with a time of 2:21.25 and Darlene Sao, Jackie Kookomoor, Caitlyn Gever and Patti Eidenire won the 200 freestyle relay with a time of 1:42.88 to lead the Bears.

Also for the Bears, Sao was second in the 200 freestyle (1:59.34), Toth was second the 200 butterfly (2:17.01), Eidenire placed second in the 50 freestyle (25.55) and Haley McWilliams placed second in the 500 freestyle (5:39.94).

Coast Guard is now 2-6 in dual meets this season. The Bears are back in action on Saturday when they host MIT at noon.
