800 Free Relay Wins NEWMAC Championship and Breaks School Record

CAMBRIDGE, Mass -- The Bears 800 free relay of freshman Sarah Passilla, junior Kristen Young, freshman Emily Benson and junior Christine McCulla won the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Championship with a school-record time of 7:34.41 to highlight the opening night of the NEWMAC Championship.

The time of 7:34.41 was an NCAA "B" cut time and puts them in the Top 12 for a possible spot at the NCAA Division III Championship.

The Bears sit in second place with 60 points behind MIT's 64 points after the first day.
