WORCESTER, Mass. -- Kristen Durham-Young won the 200 freestyle to highlight the third day of the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Championship at WPI.
Durham-Young won the 200 freestyle with a NCAA B cut time of 1:51.89.
Sarah Passilla set the school record in the 400 IM and placed third with a time of 4:31.02 breaking the mark of 4:34.55 set by Chantel Ferguson in 2013.
The Bears 200 medley relay of Sophia Furigay, Alex Lombardi, Brigit Jogan and Felicia Lombardi took fourth place with a time of 1:52.73.
The Bears are in third place at with one day left in the 2019 NEWMAC Championship. MIT leads with 851 points followed by Wheaton (627) and the Bears with 486.
The NEWMAC Championship concludes tomorrow.
