Mohr is in her first season as the diving coach for both the men's and women's swim team.
She comes to the Academy from Wagner College where she spent two
seasons as the diving coach where she headed the program from its
start.
Mohr came to Wagner with an abundance of coaching experience,
coaching the Sacred Heart Academy girls swimming and diving team to
the conference, state and state open level. Mohr also coached the
Cheshire High School boys diving team to the conference, state and
state open level, coaching state open qualifiers.
A four-year letter winner at the University Rhode Island, Mohr was
the team’s top diver at the Atlantic 10 Championships all
four seasons. She was voted senior captain and ‘most
outstanding diver, and graduated cum laude with a degree in Early
Childhood Education and Human Development and Family Studies,
making the All-Conference Honor Roll every year from 2005-2009.
Mohr was also a member of the National Society of Collegiate
Scholars, Kappa Delta Pi Education Honor Society and the
Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.
Before her recruitment to Rhode Island, Mohr won the CCC South
diving championships, capturing the CCC South diving record and the
diving record for Maloney High School in Meriden, Conn.
