DELAWARE, Ohio –Junior Beth Gollin, making her second consecutive appearance at the NCAA Championships, placed 13th in the 3,000 meter steeplechase with a time of 11:03.64 at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships at Ohio Wesleyan.
She was fifth in her heat on Thursday running a 10:51.17 to earn a spot in the final.
Senior Adam Scalesse earned the sixth All-America honors in the final race of his magnificent career as he placed third in the 110 hurdles with a time of 14.34
Scalesse, who entered the NCAA Championships as the #1 seed in the event with a time of 14.05, posted a time of 14.21 to win his heat on Friday and clinch a spot in the final.
He finishes third in the event for the second consecutive season after running a 14.50 last season.
Sophomore Luke Campbell from Salisbury set a stadium record with a time of 13.82, the fastest in Division III this season.
Scalesse placed fifth in the 60 meter hurdles during the indoor season this year.
