Lawrence Earns Spot in 400 Meter Final With School Record Time

GENEVA, Ohio  -- Adora Lawrence broke her own school record and earned a spot in Saturday's 400 meter final at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships.

Lawrence ran a record 56.62 which was ninth in the preliminaries locking up the ninth and final spot in championship heat tomorrow. The top eight in Saturday's final at 1:10 will earn All-America honors.

She had the 26th fastest time in Division III this season, a then school record 56.99 that she ran at the DIII New England Championship.
