NEW LONDON, Conn. – Freshman Amanda Dake had 24 kills on the day as Coast Guard ran its win streak to five beating Salve Regina 3-1 and Oneonta 3-0 on second and final day of the CGA/Conn. College Tournament.
Coast Guard improves to 8-1 on the season, its best start since the 2009 team won 11 straight to begin the year.
The Bears are back in action on Tuesday when they host Clark at 7:00 in the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) opener.
COAST GUARD 3, SALVE REGINA 1

Dake hit .345 and had a career-high 16 kills while junior Angelou Dunton and sophomore Bridget Boyle each had 14 kills to lead the Bears to the win.
Sophomore Veronica Hine led Coast Guard with 14 digs while Dunton and Dake each added seven digs. Junior Makenna Martin had a team-high 27 assists and three aces while freshman Nikki Sefcik finished with 20 assists.
COAST GUARD 3, ONEONTA 0
(25-15, 26-24, 25-22)
Dake had a match-high eight kills while Boyle added seven and junior Alex Kempf six kills while junior Ariel Hall hit .714 with five kills in the straight set win for the Bears.
Martin had a match-high 15 assists and freshman Lauren Hatfield led the Bears with six digs.
