Coast Guard, ranked 9th in New England, won all four matches last week to run its win streak to five straight improving to 19-7 overall and 6-3 in the NEWMAC.
Dake had 46 kills, 52 digs and 13 aces while hitting .234 as Coast Guard went 4-0 two NEWMAC victories. The sophomore's week was highlighted by a season-high 17 kills and seven aces in a 3-1 win over WPI, before tallying double-digit kills and four total service aces in wins over New Paltz and Eastern Conn. St.
Hine led the Bears with 53 digs, while averaging 3.52 digs per set and hitting double-digit digs in each victory. Hine tallied 13 digs in both conference wins against Smith and WPI, before registering 15 and 12 against SUNY New Paltz and Eastern Conn. St., respectively.
The Bears are back in action on Tuesday night at Amherst at 6:00.
