LT Christine Rostowfske is in her first season as an assistant coach with the volleyball team.

Christine, a setter, was part of the greatest volleyball team in Coast Guard history in 2006 as the Bears won the NEWMAC regular season and tournament championship and advanced to the Elite 8 of the NCAA tournament finishing with a 26-3 record.

Rostowfske was the 2006 NEWMAC Player of the Year and a second-team All-New England selection and well as an AVCA All-region selection.

In 2005, she was named the Most Outstanding Player in the ECAC New England Tournament as the Bears won the ECAC championship.

Upon graduation she worked at USCG Sector Seattle and currently teaches in the Mathematics department at the Academy.
