Coast Guard will once again be led by sophomore Beth Gollin, who was the top Bears finisher in every race last season and earned All-conference honors with an eight place finish with a time of 19:15 at the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Championship last season as Coast Guard finished third.
Senior co-captain Sarah Blatt, juniors Meghan Kalinowski and Moria McNeil along with freshman Rachel Hill will also be top performers for the Bears this season. Blatt (19:54) placed 19th while Kalinowski was 29th at the NEWMAC Championships a year ago.
Junior Rebecca Fox, sophomores Ellie Wu and Kendal Auth along with freshman Melissa Keeley will contend for the top seven spots this season. Auth was the top CGA finisher at the ECAC Division III Championship last season with a time of 24:50 which was 43rd overall as the Bears placed 14th of 40 teams.
Head coach Ethan Brown, in his fourth season, will also count on freshmen Emily Quallen, Jessica Mullroy and Tara Larkin as the Bears look to move up in both the NEWMAC and New England rankings. The Bears were ranked 10th in New England for three straight weeks in September last season.
