Senior Carolyn Smith (23:41 at regionals), junior Jenn Haley (24:41), senior co-captain Andrea Barrameda (25:04) and sophomores Rachel Burchill (25:08) and Maral Toukhanian (25:30) are all back for the Bears after running at the 6K New England Regional championship last season.
"Our women's team has all the potential to see considerable improvements during the 2015 season, said seventh year head coach Ethan Brown. "Our team will be looking to top returners from last year's conference and regional championships to help lead the charge."
"What's most exciting about this year's team is the number of returners from last year's squad combined with a talented freshman class of seven runners, added Coach Brown. "Some of our first year runners are already demonstrating a potential to be in scoring position."
Coast Guard opens the season at the Trinity Invitational on September 12th.
