NEW ORLEANS, La. – Senior Rachel Burchill and junior Anita Green were both named to the 2017 Division III USTFCCCA Cross Country All-Academic team for their continued effort and success in the classroom.
Green, a mechanical engineering major, earns USTFCCCA All-Academic honors for the second straight year becoming the first athlete in program history to earn the honor twice.
Burchill, an Electrical Engineering major, earns USTFCCCA All-Academic honors for the first time in her career. She was named NEWMAC All-Academic for the second time in her career this past season.
There were 668 student-athletes named USTFCCCA All-Academic with women accounting for 55 percent of that total number (368).
In order to qualify for this honor, student-athletes must have a cumulative GPA of 3.30 and finish in the top 25 percent of their respective regional championship meet.
