Five Named to NEWMAC All-Conference Football Team

NEW LONDON, Conn. – Coast Guard had five players, four on the defensive side of the ball, named to the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) All-conference football team.

Senior cornerback Patrick Crowley, senior defensive lineman R.J. Robiskie, junior defensive lineman Philip Orlando and junior linebacker Eugene Bizer were named from the defense while junior wide receiver Justin Moffatt was the only Coast Guard player on offense.

Crowley earns second team honors for the third straight season. He was tied for the NEWMAC lead with four interceptions this season and was second on the team with 66 tackles, 3.5 for loss and a team-high nine pass breakups, which was tied for the second most in the conference.

Moffatt, a first team selection last season, led the NEWMAC with 66 receptions and was second with a career-high 872 yards to go with five touchdown receptions.

Orlando, Robiskie and Bizer earned All-conference honors for the first time. Orlando led the NEWMAC with 13 tackles for loss and eight sacks and finished with 59 tackles despite missing the final two games of the season.

Robiskie, who also missed the final two game of the season, was tied for second in the NEWMAC with 7.5 sacks he had 38 tackles on the season.

Bizer led the NEWMAC with 110 tackles, 18 more than anyone in the conference. He had a league-high 74 solo tackles. He was second on the team with 8.5 tackles for loss and added two interceptions, two fumble recoveries and a sack.
