Penny took the top spot in the 400 crossing the line in 49.10, beating junior Vernon Espinoza by just over three tenths of a second. Penny also took second in the 200 (22.12). Junior Jacob Pawlina finished fifth in the 400 in a time of 49.59.
Senior Luke Rehfuss was the Bears other top finisher on the track, taking second place in the 400 hurdles in 55.98.
Frick led a number of top finishers in the field events as he cleared 15-5 in the vault on his first attempt for first place.
Sophomore Ben Zarlengo earned a second place finish in the discus (142-10) and a fourth place finish in the hammer (160-11) while junior Justin Jezuit was fourth in the discus (136-04) and sophomore Dante Roberts was eighth (126-01).
Coast Guard is back in action next Saturday, April 21st, when they travel to both the University of Albany Spring Classic and the Springfield Invitational.
