Bears Beat Merchant Marine for Supt. Trophy Point

LOGAN TOWNSHIP, N.J. – Jacob McGlumphy was the top Coast Guard finisher as he placed 58th at the Rowan Inter-Regional Border Battle and the Bears placed 19th and beat archrival Merchant Marine, which placed 21st, 25-30 head-to-head to win a point in the Superintendent's Trophy race, which the Bears now lead 4-0 this academic year.

Greg Costello (26:35), Joseph Roth (23:56.6), Matt Doyle (26.49.4), Adam VanDeren (27:06.6), Ryan Brock (27:14.1), Thomas Jordon (27:18.4) and William Anderson (27:56.7) rounded out the scoring runners for the Bears.

The Bears also sent a group of sub varsity runners to compete at the Conn. College Invitational and Ross Kolko (27:20.9) and Logan Bonner (27:33.8) were the top finishers for Coast Guard.

Coast Guard is back in action at the NEWMAC Championship at Franklin Park in Boston on Nov. 3rd.
