Freshman Year: A key member of Academy record setting teams in Smallbore four man team, four man team aggregate, and five man team aggregate as well as four man Air Rifle team. Shot a 192 to become a co-holder of the Academy record in Smallbore Standing. A Mid Atlantic Rifle Conference (MAC) All Rookie Team member.

Prior to Coast Guard: Precision Air Rifle and Smallbore with high school rifle team, a veteran of Junior Olympic Rifle Championship competition earned the Civilian Marksmanship Program’s Junior Distinguished Air Rifle Badge

Personal: Started shooting in high school and grew up living in Ecuador and Peru.
